What happens to a trading account after 30 days of inactivity, and how can it be reactivated?

Accounts must not remain inactive for more than 30 calendar days (including Saturdays and Sundays). Inactivity is defined as having no executed trades during that period. If this threshold is reached, the system will automatically place the account on hold and trading will be suspended.

To reactivate a held account, submit a support ticket via live chat. The support team will reactivate your account once you confirm you are ready to place a trade within 24 hours. If no trade is executed within that 24-hour window, the account may be placed on hold again.

What counts as activity? Any executed trade counts — even opening and closing a position within a few minutes is sufficient to reset the inactivity clock. As a general guideline, aim to place at least 1 trade per week to keep your account active.

Warning notifications: Before your account is breached for inactivity, you will receive a notification email alerting you that you are approaching the maximum days since last traded. If you receive this warning, place a trade as soon as possible to avoid a breach.

Important: If the inactivity period has been significantly exceeded, the account may be permanently closed rather than simply placed on hold. In such cases, reactivation is not guaranteed, and the support team will assess the situation individually. Extenuating circumstances (e.g., loss of account access) can be raised with support, but exceptions are not assured.
