# What conditions must be met to merge multiple active funded trading accounts?

To merge multiple funded trading accounts, all of the following conditions must be met:

* All accounts must be **funded** (not in a challenge phase)
* All accounts must be on the **same step**
* All accounts must be under the **same email address**
* All accounts must use the **same platform**
* All accounts must be at their **initial balance** (no open trades or pending activity)

**Note for Instant Funded accounts:** If an Instant Funded account has already been traded, it can still be merged, but only **after a payout has been made** first.

**Maximum allocation:** The maximum total combined allocation across merged Instant Funded accounts is **$200,000**, regardless of the individual account sizes.
