Switching Trading Platform Between Match-Trader and MT5
Switching Trading Platform Between Match-Trader and MT5
Can I switch from Match-Trader to MT5 (or vice versa)?
A platform switch (Match-Trader ↔ MT5) may be possible, but only if no trades have been placed on the account yet. Once a trade has been executed, the platform cannot be changed — your order number is recorded against the original platform at the time of purchase.
If you accidentally selected the wrong platform and have not yet traded, contact Support with your account number and they will send you new login details for the correct platform.
Important: one account, one platform
You cannot use the same account on both platforms simultaneously. When a platform switch is made, the original account is closed and a new account is created on the requested platform. The original account will no longer be usable.
What happens after the switch?
Once the switch is processed, new login details are sent to your email. Check your inbox, spam, and junk folders. You can then log in and start trading on the new platform.
What if I have already traded?
If trades have already been placed, the platform cannot be changed — not even after passing a phase or moving from Phase 1 to Phase 2. If you wish to use a different platform at any earlier stage, you will need to purchase a new account and select the preferred platform at checkout.
Canadian users and MT5
MT5 is not available for Canadian users. If you are based in Canada, your account will be on Match-Trader and cannot be switched to MT5. If MT5 is required and you are a Canadian user, you may request a refund instead. Card refunds typically take 5–10 business days to be processed.
Logging into Match-Trader
If your account is on Match-Trader, log in via the Match Trader Manager — not MT5:
- Go to https://manager.maven.markets/
- Enter the email address used for your purchase.
- Check your email inbox for the password.
Note: All accounts under the same email share the same password. After your first purchase, subsequent accounts will show the password as "already set."
