How to verify a cryptocurrency payment for a Maven account purchase

Why a crypto payment may not be credited

When paying with cryptocurrency, it is important to ensure you are sending a valid, supported token. Even if a transaction appears successful in your wallet, the payment may be rejected if the token used is not recognized on the blockchain. In such cases, the payment processor will flag the transaction as a "Fake Token", meaning the token has no real value and no actual payment was received. The purchase will not be credited to your account.

What to check before completing a crypto payment

  • Make sure you are sending a supported cryptocurrency (e.g., USDT on a supported network).
  • Verify that the token is legitimate and not a worthless or counterfeit token. Some wallets may display tokens that appear real but are not valid on the blockchain.
  • Double-check the network you are using (e.g., BEP20, ERC20) matches the one expected at checkout.
  • Note that transaction fees (e.g., BEP20 network fees) are separate from the checkout amount and do not affect payment validity.

What to do if your credentials have not arrived after payment

If you completed a crypto payment but have not received your account login credentials, contact support and provide all of the following information (copy and paste — screenshots alone are not sufficient):

  1. Your email address
  2. Your 7-digit order number
  3. Your Transaction ID / Hash (TXID) — the long string of letters and digits found in your crypto transaction history
  4. The network used (e.g., BEP20, ERC20)
  5. The wallet address from which you sent the payment

Once your payment is verified, your account should arrive within approximately 10 minutes. If it does not arrive within that time, follow up with support.

If your payment is flagged as a fake token

If your transaction is marked as a "Fake Token" by the payment processor, the token used was not valid on the blockchain and no payment was received. In this case:

  • No account credentials will be issued for that transaction.
  • You will need to complete a new payment using a valid, supported token.
  • Contact support if you have any questions about which tokens and networks are accepted.
