# How to Connect Your MavenTrade Account to MT5

After purchasing a MavenTrade account, your login credentials (login number and password) are sent to your registered email address. Use these details to connect to the MT5 platform — trading is done on MT5, not on the MavenTrade dashboard.

> **Note:** MavenTrade does not offer web-based MT5 access. You must use the mobile app or desktop application.

## MT5 Mobile App

1. Open the MT5 app and go to **Settings**
2. Tap **New Account**
3. Search for **MavenTrade Limited** and select it
4. Enter your login number
5. Copy and paste your password — **make sure to include any symbols at the end of the password**

If you haven't installed MT5 yet, download the MavenTrade version here:

1. Open MT5 and go to **File**
2. Select **Open an Account**
3. In the broker name field, search for **MavenTrade Limited** and select it
4. Choose **Connect with Existing Account**
5. Enter your login number and type your password manually — **make sure to include any symbols at the end of the password**

## Common Issues

* **Password fails:** Ensure the full password is entered, including any special characters or symbols (e.g., `:` or `;`) at the end. Copy-pasting directly from your email is recommended.
* **Credentials not received:** Check your inbox (and spam folder) for the email containing your login number and password.
* **MavenTrade Limited not appearing in the broker search:** This can be caused by regional network restrictions. Try using a VPN connected to a country other than the USA or Canada, then search for **MAVEN** in the broker search bar and select the result that appears.
