# How can I resolve an MT5 Android authorization failure caused by an incorrectly copied password?

If you receive an "Authorization Failed" or "No Connection" error when logging into MetaTrader 5 on Android — even though the same credentials work on MT5 Windows Desktop — the most common cause is an incomplete password entry. MT5 passwords may include special characters (such as a colon `:`) at the end, which can be missed or cut off when copying and pasting on a mobile device.

To resolve this, carefully copy and paste the full password, making sure **all characters including any trailing symbols** are included. Also ensure you are using the correct **MT5 app** (not MT4/MTQL) and the correct server name (e.g., `MavenTrade-Server`). Once the complete password is entered, the login should succeed. If it still doesn't go through - you can contact support.
