# How can I check whether my trading account is active and available for trading?

If you're unsure whether your trading account is active, check the following common reasons an account may be unavailable:

* **Drawdown breach:** If your account is locked or terminated, it may be because you violated a drawdown rule. For Instant Funding accounts, a 3% max trailing drawdown applies — tracked from your highest equity point (not your starting balance). Once breached, the account is terminated and cannot be recovered.
* **Inactivity hold:** Accounts with no executed trades for more than 30 calendar days are automatically placed on hold. To reactivate, submit a support ticket and the team will restore your access.
* **Login issues:** If you see an "authorization failed" or "invalid account" error, make sure you are copying the password exactly as provided — including any special characters at the end (e.g., `:` or `?`). If the issue persists, contact support and share a screenshot of the error.
* **Account not yet received:** After purchase, accounts are typically delivered within 10 minutes. If you haven't received your credentials after that time, contact support with your order ID and payment details.
* **Account not visible on dashboard / showing wrong email:** If your account was sent to a different email address than the one you normally use, it will not appear on your dashboard when you log in with the other email. Log in using the exact email the account was registered to. Note that the email linked to an account **cannot be changed once a trade has been placed**. Having accounts under different email addresses is permitted. To find which email your account is registered to, contact support with your account number.

If none of the above apply and you believe your account was blocked by mistake, contact support with your account number and a screenshot of the error so the team can investigate.
