# Account Merging Requirements

# Account Merging Requirements

## Requirements for Merging Funded Accounts

Two funded accounts can be merged if they meet ALL of the following conditions:

1. **Both accounts must be funded** - Both accounts must have been activated and funded (purchased)
2. **Same account step/platform** - Both accounts must be on the same platform (MetaTrader 5 or Match Trader) and has the same step (ex. 2step and 2step). You cannot merge 1step funded with 2step funded.
3. **Same profit split and consistency score** - Accounts must share the same profit split percentage and consistency score. For example, an account with 80% profit split and 20% consistency cannot be merged with an account with 90% profit split and 30% consistency.
3. **Same email address** - Both accounts must be registered to the same email address
4. **Both at initial balance** - Both accounts must be at their starting/initial balance with no profits or losses
5. **Same name** - Both accounts must be registered under the same name
6. **Same add-on options** - Accounts with different add-on configurations (e.g., different profit split add-ons) must match to be eligible for merging.

## Special Case: Merging Traded Accounts

If an account has already been traded (positions opened), it can still be merged, but **only after a payout has been made** from that account.

## Maximum Allocation

You can have up to **$200,000** in total starting capital across all funded accounts combined. However, you are entitled to scale the accounts to **$1,000,000** through the scaling program (refer to the FAQ for more details).

## Accounts with Different Rules Cannot Be Merged

Accounts operating under different plan rules (e.g., an OMO account and a Pay Later account) **cannot be merged**, even if they are funded. Both accounts must follow the same plan/rules.

## What Happens After a Merge

The balances of the merged accounts are combined into a single account. One account is closed and the full combined balance is carried over to the remaining account. For example, a 5k account merged into a 20k account results in a single 25k account.

## How to Request a Merge

To merge your accounts, contact Maven Trading support with:
* Both account login IDs
* Confirmation that both accounts meet all the requirements above

Support will process the merge. The smaller account will be closed and its balance added to the surviving account.
